I've really loved seeing everyone's #5photos1day pictures, so I thought I'd give the challenge a go and show you a more or less typical day for me.Read More
My non-riding friends sometimes ask me why I still take lessons after riding for so many years. After all, what could be so hard about wearing an odd-looking outfit and sitting there on your horse while he jumps over sticks? But as us riders know, a life with horses often comes with more downs than ups, and riding is *a lot* harder than just sitting there looking pretty and collecting ribbons.Read More
Sending your beloved and faithful friend off to his or her next owner is never an easy thing to do, and it's harder with some horses than others. It's been a few months since I said good-bye to my best friend and faithful partner Toes...Read More
Summer starts in exactly 17 days, and if you're anything like me, you know that we're fast approaching the time of year that brings long sunny days, trips to the beach -- and -- the season when horse addiction is at its worst. Oh, and I think he's absolutely amazing, and yes I know I'm biased. But isn't he pretty?...Read More
