One of my favorites growing up, so good they still publish it! A must for anyone new to horses, this is a visually stunning and extensive guide to horse breeds that includes a training/equipment section.
A ton of great exercises for riders of all levels. Written by Linda Allen, a top course designer and former high level rider.
Practical Horseman's Book of Riding, Training, & Showing Hunters & Jumpers is out of print but used copies are cheap on Amazon. This is hands down my favorite horse book on training and riding, and is full of insights from the world's top show jumpers.
A must read if you're horse-crazy (which of course you are if you're on this site!). A ton of fun info about horses and riding.
